TEHRAN Cultural Manager of the Leader's Office in Universities, Mohammad-Ali Vakili said that the First Nationwide University Festival on Nahj-ul-Balagheh will be held this year in the country.
Speaking in Ahvaz, Khuzestan Province, Vakili said that the festival will be held in six sections for students and one section for university professors. The sections which were allocated to students comprise memorization, translation of Nahj-ul-Balagheh, book reading as well as literary, artistic and article writing sections.
The section of the university professors is titled "Research in Nahj-ul-Balagheh." Vakili underlined that the preparatory stage of the festival for university students will open on November 20 adding that the final stage of the festival will be held in the presence of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei in February.
He added that the deadline for university students and professors is January 1.
Vakili stressed that the festival will be held on the occasion of Year of Imam Ali (AS) and aims to familiarize the young generation particularly university students with the remarkable book of Imam Ali (AS).
Vakili who is also secretariat of the festival, further said that more than seven months after beginning of the Year of Imam Ali (AS), no collective step has been taken to introduce Nahj-ul-Balagheh more to university students.
